UPDATE - 2/27/06

A Fan made a photoshop rendition of the Black costume from the comics.

It is a great combination of the films pebble outfit and the symbiote costume. That is what they should have done at Sony. But because a fan did it first, it pretty much gurantees that we will never see this far superior outfit in May 2007.

Late last night Sony Pictures released a teaser/offical poster of Spiderman 3.

I'm personally on the fence about this Gray Scale Spidey outfit.

I personally loved the Symbiote costume from the original comic.
That jet black suit with the giant white spider symbol on his chest and his giant withe bug eyes wuz kick ass.

And of course when the outfit chose another host (because Peter rejected it) and became VENOM with Eddie Brock. Look out cuz Spidey got his ass handed to him many times since.

AND...

This costume appearing as the regular Red/Blue/Black pebble suit but just in shades of gray instead leaves me feeling alittle disappointed.

But there is still over a year to go and this could be Sony just feeling the waters of fan reaction.

Anyway it is sorta cool.
