Subject: College
If things keep going this well at school then I'll be on the President's List at the end of this quarter.
I am actually surprised that I'm doing this well.
I've never done this well in school before.
OK
I have but it was when I was talking golf as an elective.
Subject: Films
The Break-Up was not as funny as I thought it would be considering Vince Vaughn was in it. It was funnier than your average chick-flick.
They almost redeemed them selves with the first ending, but they go and fuck it up by doing that lame ass "six months later" crap.
The Da Vinci Code was watchable but just barely.
It had me snickering at the dialogue which is bad for a serious thriller.
The rushed pace of Langdon and Amelie joining forces was kind of goofy as was the Sailas (hope I spelled that right) character.
Although I am very likely to read the book now more than before the film came out because of the themes mentioned in the film.
Mission Impossible: III.
I actually liked this one a lot.
It did have snickering inducing dialogue and Keri Russell was way miss cast and the ending was fucking great until you find out what you thought happened didn't but over all I recommend this one.

OK I'm just gonna break these down by rent, don't rent, and buy.
RENT:
Grandma's Boy - Funny
DONT RENT:
Date Movie - Not one laugh
Freedomland - Just didn't like it which is shocking cuz I love Sam Jackson and Julianne Moore
BUY:
The New World
I am going to but this version and the Extended version coming soon. Terrance Malick just has a lyrical visual style that I just love. I was really surprised that I liked this film as much as I did.
Subject: "Michelle"
Ran into her and her mom at the gym on Wednesday.
Her mom asked me to join them at the beach this or next weekend.
I am so introverted that I decline by going on a rant about how much I hate the beach (which I do - I really, really, really do) .
But the conversation goes on and it finally dawns on me that "Michelle" doesn't like me.
I think that her mom likes me for her so she keeps pushing "Michelle" towards me but "Michelle" isn't interested.
I believe this because as I've stated her mom invited me out.
As the conversation went on her mom, again (not "Michelle") , asked me to join them for some undetermined event in the future.
Also I called "Michelle" today to apologize for not being more polite towards her mom's invitation and asked if I could still join them. And as usual when I call "Michelle" I do not get a return call.
So that is why I know "Michelle" does not like me.

It sucks.
And I miss "Lisa."

I could never get with Terrance Malick. I walked out of the theater when I went to see "Thin Red Line." I don't know if I can put myself through "The New World."
I understand. The thin red line was kind of hard to get throuh. but the quiet moments are where this guy kicks ass and takes names. The slow movements of the camera tilted up at the sky or when a character is looking at something. Just fantastic.
