I went and watched the Departed.

It was pretty damn good.

A lot funnier than I ever thought it would be.

A surprise to me though was how DiCaprio worked all the other guys in the film.

I mean the only man who doesn't appear to be "acting" (other than Nicholson cause he's just being himself) is Leo.

Infernal Affairs, the film The Departed is based on, was better in some aspects.

Particularly the cat and mouse game at the warehouse buy. In the original it was a very intense scene because these two guys were trying to figure out who the other was while standing around their counterparts.

In the remake, they kind of split that scene into two and didn't really show the cat and mouse aspect of either scene.

It was sort of just there for us to watch and not feel.

Yet overall The Departed was much more fleshed out (character wise - the two leads and the therapist) and entertaining.

So, go see it if you haven't seen it yet.
