Welcome

This is one of my venues for therapy. I live too much in my head so I have strong feelings about everything and nothing. So this is my venting place.

Hope you find it entertaining.

And I get her machine.

And she has it set up with the HAL2000 voice. "Record your message." "BEEEEEP!"

I tell her my plans had fallen through with "Bart" and leave my cell number for her to call.

I was disappointed to say the least.

BEGIN FLASHBACK:

INT. HOTEL BATHROOM - NIGHT

A MAN is talking on his CELL PHONE. He nervously PACES the room.

MAN
(Into phone)
Wow. I can't believe that you called.

WOMAN (O.S.)
I didn't think you'd remember me.

The Man PAUSES mid-pace. All kinds of thoughts race through his mind. He opens his mouth to Speak but doesn't.

END FLASHBACK.

I headed back to the hotel to drop off my mom and sister and then went over to the Hilton to see "Quan."

But I miss him on the floor.

So far on my last day in Vegas I've yet to see any of my friends.

So I am constantly checking my cell phone to see if "Lisa" called.

But she didn't.

She never does.

All I can do is go on with the rest of my day.

After the Hilton I go back to my hotel room to change for the show (Jubilee) and walk over to the Flamingo.

The titty show was lame. I mean for the price of my ticket I could have gotten the cover charge, two Heinies, and three lapdances at Club Paradise. It was a waste of money.

I've been fighting the need to call "Lisa" all day but after the show I give in.

And I get her machine.

Again.

Defeated, I leave a good-bye message.

Basically I say that it would have been cool to see her again. And that maybe we'll get together the next time I'm in Las Vegas whenever thah will be. Etc.

And that was it.

We are out of each other's lives again.

And I FUCKING!!! hate it.
